An IDEAL HOME is not what you think...(especially with kids)

I was invited to the Ideal Home Show on complimentary tickets, not once but twice this year. And I really love the show. But it did get me thinking, what is an ideal FAMILY home.

Everyone at the Ideal Home Show is looking for things to create their perfect home.

But the truth is- an ideal family home isn't about what's in it.

It is not about the furniture.

It is not about the colour of the decking.

An ideal family home is how it FEELS!

It's a place where children feel safe, calm and connected.

It's where mealtimes are not a struggle.

Where laughter, not stress, is filling the place.

Because years from now, your children won't remember the cushions...

They will remember how it feels to live there.

And that is something you can not buy.

I have been lucky enough to speak about organising with children in mind on the Spring Clean Stage and on a panel about clients who have hoarding tendencies in the past two years at the Ideal Home Show .

I have met Lawrence Llewelyn Bowen a few times, Louise Gookey has introduced me on the stage and this year, I met George Clarke from Ch 4's Amazing Spaces.

If you would like to learn how to create an Ideal Family Home based on connection, let's deep dive into your rooms and routines, book a free call with me today.
