I understand. The chaos in the staffroom is costing your practitioners time, it is costing your nursery money and when it is a shared space as a staffroom too, the well-being of your staff is being effected.
With a background in teaching and working in nurseries, I know the perils of the dreaded storage cupboard. I also know the importance of rotation of resources when 'enabling the environment'
What do we do?
1. MTO Workshop with your staff
Before we can do the service, I need to know why it is not staying organised. Your staff tell me things that perhaps they wouldn't tell you.
2. Measurements and storage solution research
After the initial consultation and with the information from your members of staff, I draw up a new plan of how the storage system can be optimised, adding more structure often helps. This is bespoke to your needs: materials, colours, measurements etc
3. Declutter
This section has to be done with yourself or managers; what is broken, what you do not use, what is important?
4. Systemise and label
This part can be done by myself or with you to create a workable system for your nursery to run more smoothly.
5. Follow up
After the service, you will get your before and after photographs, but more importantly, an editable document with your space and resources all listed.
